Starting in late September 2026, experience a special highlight: Located on the grounds of Hellbrunn Palace, right next to the “Sound of Music” Pavilion, the new seasonal “Sound of Music Museum” offers a multimedia experience that provides fascinating insights into the making and success story of the Hollywood film, its enduring global impact, and the authentic life of the Trapp family.

Seasonal opening hours: daily from April 1 through October 31.

From January 2 to 4, 2027, the legendary Four Hills Tournament will make its 75th stop in Innsbruck. The Bergisel is one of four ski jumps where this time-honored ski jumping event takes place. The hill’s location is unique: when the jumpers take off, it seems as though they are flying right over the rooftops of Innsbruck—a spectacular sight that makes this stop on the tour truly one-of-a-kind. The anniversary will also feature a first: for the first time ever, a women’s competition will be part of the program in Innsbruck.

The beginning of the year in Vienna is all about the ball season. There is a huge selection of events. Social highlights include the Vienna Opera Ball and the Philharmonic Ball, where the dress code is tailcoats for men and floor-length evening gowns for women. Other highlights include the Confectioners' Ball and the Coffeehouse Owners' Ball, which take place in the Vienna Hofburg. Gentlemen may also wear tuxedos here, while the dress code for ladies is floor-length evening gowns. A special feature is the Hunters' Ball, where guests dance the waltz in traditional costume. The dress code for the balls should not be an obstacle to participation: we are happy to arrange wardrobe rentals for the respective event.
